Trash Clean Up – Lake Pflugerville

The Pflugerville Parks Foundation hosted a community trash cleanup at Lake Pflugerville, where 9 volunteers worked together to remove 11 bags of trash from the lake and surrounding shoreline areas. Events like these help protect local wildlife, improve water quality, and keep our parks beautiful for everyone to enjoy. Thank you to all of the volunteers who came out to help care for one of Pflugerville’s most loved outdoor spaces!
Sapling Planting – Kelly Lane Park

PfPF partnered with the City Pforester and the Citizen Pforester group for a large-scale planting event at Kelly Lane Park. With the help of more than 60 volunteers, we planted 1,000 native saplings and spread 20 pounds of wildflower seeds to support pollinators and future tree canopy growth. Thank you to everyone who helped create a greener future for Pflugerville!
Earth Day Clean-Up – Wilbarger Creek Park North

PfPF was happy to support the City of Pflugerville’s Earth Day clean-up at Wilbarger Creek Park North. Volunteers worked together to remove litter and care for this important creek corridor. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate Earth Day by giving back to our parks!
Keep Pflugerville Beautiful Clean-Up – Lake Pflugerville

PfPF joined the City of Pflugerville for a Keep Pflugerville Beautiful clean-up at Lake Pflugerville. With over 60 volunteers participating, we removed more than 80 bags of trash from the lake and surrounding shoreline. We’re so grateful to everyone who came out to support one of our community’s most loved outdoor spaces!
Invasive Species Removal – North Park
February, 2026
PfPF partnered with the City Pforester for an invasive species removal event at North Park. Alongside dedicated volunteers, we worked to restore native habitat and also collected 90 bags of trash from the park. Thank you to everyone who helped protect and improve this important green space!
MLK Jr. Day of Service – Pfluger Park

The Pflugerville Parks Foundation was proud to support the City of Pflugerville’s MLK Jr. Day of Service at Pfluger Park. With more than 80 volunteers coming together in the spirit of service, we collected over 100 bags of trash from the park and surrounding areas. Thank you to everyone who showed up to make a difference and help keep our community spaces clean and welcoming!
